May 20, 2024 - The KapCo is excited to announce the collaboration with Osu!, introducing - the Pippi set! You might be wondering what "Osu!" is. Osu! is a popular rhythm game primarily developed by Dean "peppy" Herbert. It was published in 2007 and has many active players across the globe to this day. The KapCo has got the honor to collaborate with Osu! to create a set of Osu! keycaps. The Design The keycap set features Pippi, Osu!'s official mascot that is created by Dean "peppy" Herbert. Pippi is a young girl who has dyed hair. She has two different hair colors - pink and black. The color scheme on these keycaps is very diverse, consisting of pink, black, white and dark blue. The colorful and rich color scheme truly brings out Pippi's cute character and personality. The "escape" keycap has the Osu! logo, giving the keycap set a nice touch and sticking to the Osu! theme.   The Keycaps The Pippi keycaps are made of high quality PBT material, ensuring that you get the premium Osu! gaming experience. The numpad option features the same switches, but just a smaller keyboard kit - the Zuoya LMK21.  The Pippi keycap set includes a total of 133 keys which include additional keys for different keyboard layout. So this means that the keycaps are compatible with all sizes of standard ANSI layout mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX/ MX style switches. How do I know what type of switches I have? Take off the keycaps on your keyboard and carefully observe the stem of your switches. If the stem looks like a "+" cross-stem, then these keycaps will be compatible. So unless you have low profile switches or exclusive switches, the Pippi keycaps are compatible with your keyboard. If you go for the keycap set only, then you have to make sure your keyboard is compatible with the keycaps.
