Ilustrata Returns - The Biggest KapCo Artist Collaboration Ever
August 26, 2024 - A year ago, we asked ourselves what makes a keyboard stand out while remaining accessible to everyone. The answer became clear with our KapCo Artist Collection—a series that showcases unique designs born from collaborations between the world of keycaps and the world of art. We’re incredibly fortunate to have connected with talented artists and illustrators from around the world, bringing fresh inspiration to keycap design. One of our most notable collaborators is the renowned illustration studio @ilustrata. With an impressive 11 designs, we’re proud to introduce the KapCo x Ilustrata Special Release this month! Before we jump into the keycaps itself, here's a quick brief about the well-loved Ilustrata Studio: Based in Brazil, the illustration studio consist of three illustrators, Bruno Rodrigues, David Faraum, and Victor Kahn. The illustration studio is founded in 2013. The first collab between KapCo x Ilustrata is the Nekomancer Set. It has been almost a year since the debut of Ilustrata’s first keycap set, the Nekomancer. The release was a big hit, with people around the world loving the designs of witchcraft cats on their mechanical keyboards. We can’t help but wonder, what other magic will Ilustrata Studio create next? So here we are! KapCo x Ilustrata - Cat Vending Machine The people of internet loves cat, so a cat themed keycap set will never go wrong!
