What Happened After I Changed from a Normal Keyboard to a Mechanical Keyboard
I have always been a fan of keyboards. I love typing, gaming, and browsing on my computer, and I enjoy the feeling of pressing the keys and hearing the clicks. But I never thought much about the quality or type of keyboard I was using. I just used whatever came with my laptop or desktop, or whatever was cheap and available at the store.
That changed when I discovered The KapCo, a brand that specializes in keycaps and keyboards for enthusiasts. I was browsing their website one day and I was amazed by their collection of cute and exclusive keycaps, featuring anime characters, pastel colors, and trendy designs. I was especially drawn to their Anime Keycaps Collection, which had keycaps inspired by popular anime series like Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, and One Piece.
I decided to treat myself and order a set of Starlight Anya Themed Keycaps, which had vibrant pink and white colors and images of Anya with different expression. I was so excited to receive them and try them on my keyboard.
But then I realized that I needed a mechanical keyboard to use them. I didn't know much about mechanical keyboards at the time, but I learned that they have switches under each key that provide different levels of feedback, sound, and durability. They also have removable keycaps that can be replaced with custom ones.
I decided to go for The KapCo PLAY 100 mechanical keyboard, which was a versatile and customizable keyboard that offered a unique magnetic casing with six colors, RGB lighting with 18 preset colors, and triple connection mode (wired, wireless, or Bluetooth). It also had hot-swappable switches that allowed me to change them without soldering.
I ordered the keyboard along with the keycaps and waited eagerly for them to arrive. When they did, I was blown away by the quality and look of both products. The keycaps were smooth and sturdy, with vivid colors and details. The keyboard was sleek and elegant, with a metal frame and a magnetic cover that snapped on easily.
I plugged in the keyboard and installed the keycaps on it. I am very impressed with it. The keyboard felt amazing to use. The keys were responsive and satisfying to press. The switches made a pleasant clicky sound that matched the theme of the keycaps. The RGB lighting added a touch of flair and mood to my setup.
I felt like I had upgraded my typing experience to a whole new level. I enjoyed typing more than ever before. I felt more productive and creative when working on my documents and emails. I felt more immersed and engaged when playing games or typing. I felt more connected and expressive when chatting with my friends or posting on social media.
It was like changing from a normal keyboard to a mechanical keyboard was like changing from black-and-white to color TV, or from standard definition to high definition. It was like switching from plain water to sparkling water, or from regular coffee to espresso. It was like upgrading from economy class to business class, or from a motel room to a suite.
It was a game-changer for me.
I don't think I can ever go back to using a normal keyboard again. I'm hooked on mechanical keyboards now. And I'm hooked on The KapCo too. They have such a great selection of keycaps and keyboards that cater to different tastes and preferences. They also have great customer service.
If you're looking for a way to spice up your keyboard game, I highly recommend checking out The KapCo's website and browsing their products. You might find something that fit you and makes you want.
